Class Policies

 

Please read carefully before signing up for a workshop.

1. Registration
To register for a class, you can do so at the store or by phone. Your class fee should be paid in full at the time of sign up, in order to reserve your space.

Unless otherwise indicated, our workshops are for people 13 years or older.

Walk-ins are welcome, if there is space available.

2. Class size
In order to provide you with the best instruction and "maximum enjoyment" (a requirement here at SewBeadazzled), we have limited the size of our classes. Our classes do fill up quickly, though, so make sure you register early.

3. Cancellations
All workshops require a five-day (5) cancellation notice. This must be done in person or by phone (no phone answering machine). You will then receive a store credit.

Should you cancel any time after the five (5) days, you will receive 25% of the class price as a store credit.

We reserve the right to cancel any workshop if not enough people sign up. In that case, you will receive a full refund.

4. Before class
You will receive a materials list at the time of sign-up. You can purchase your materials at any time during store hours.

In order to be able to keep the lowest rates possible for our workshops, we respectfully request that all class materials be purchased exclusively from our store. You are welcome to bring your own tools, if you prefer. If a kit is required for a workshop, it will be available for purchase on the day of the class.

5. On the day of class
If you need to purchase your materials the day of the class, please come in about 30 minutes before class starts. Our staff will be glad to help you with your choices... and you will receive 15% off on all class materials!

We like to start our classes promptly so you can receive the best possible benefit from our workshops. Please be on time.

Some people are allergic to fragrances (perfumes, colognes, and/or very aromatic lotions). Please do not wear any on the day of class.

Classes which are longer than three (3) hours, will have a lunch break in between. We are very flexible with our scheduling, so the time for lunch will be decided on during the workshop, by the whole group.

6. During class
Create, ask questions, make new friends, and above all... have fun!

7. After class
You will be provided with instructions so you can re-create your project, if you choose. Don't forget to "Wear It Like You Deserve It".

8. Your suggestions are always welcome
Is there a technique you'd like to learn? Please let us know. We listen to our customers' suggestions and we keep improving our workshops.

Do you have something in mind you'd like to create but don't know how? Remember that you can always sign up for a private lesson for your own group (or just for you).
